Make a Gospel Tract (Good News Booklet)
If you would like to make a Gospel tract which is based on "Christ Came to Save Sinners: From Creation to Christ" on this website, then please contact me on the contact page with the your church information. This service is available to those who attend Independent Bible churches or Independent Baptist churches. Please read through all the directions carefully to make sure you will be able to complete the project before contacting me. You can ask me any questions about any of the steps at any time.
I will send you the content necessary to make the Gospel tract via an email attachment. You can create the Gospel tract in a couple steps described below.
First, I need to know your church information, as shown below:
Name of Church
Church Street Address
Church City, State and Zip Code
Telephone Number
Website (if available)
Email me your church information to start the process using my Contact page. I will then email you a PDF file that contains the Gospel tract text and a PDF file of the Gospel tract printing layout.
Download Adobe Reader to access PDF files if you have not previously downloaded it.
The text PDF file will help you put the booklet pages in the correct order.
First, print out this instruction page.
Then print out the Gospel tract text PDF file.
Next, print out the PDF file of the Gospel tract so that the printer prints on both sides (duplex). If you do not have a printer that is capable of printing on both sides, then you can manually print one side at a time.
Once you have printed out however many copies of the Gospel tract that you want, you will need to cut the Gospel tract printing layout pages in half widthwise so that you get four 8.5 inch (width) by 5.5 inch (length) pages.
At your local office supply store or local printer, they will cut your printouts in half widthwise with a machine for a reasonable price. You can also use a paper cutter.
If you choose the paper cutter, align the paper so that you cut it in half width-wise at the 5 and 1/2 inch mark. You should now have two 8.5 inch (width) by 5.5 inch (length) pages after cutting the 8.5 inch by 11 inch pages in half widthwise.
Fold the pages in half on the correct side based on the order shown on the Gospel tract text. Place a blank piece of paper on top of an empty folder below the page you are going to fold. Also place a blank piece of paper to cover the text so as not to smudge the text while folding. Use a bone folder (available at craft stores) or wooden ruler to make a smooth and even fold. Once you have folded these pages a few times, you will remember which side to fold. Next, place the folded pages in the correct order. Finally, you will need to staple them twice (top and bottom) along the folded edge with a long reach stapler, which can be purchased at an office supply store. The long reach stapler should be set at 4.25 inches for stapling.
Further, if you have enough money, you could simply place an order with a local printer, although this is an expensive option.
Please do not change the content of the Gospel tract and please do not charge anyone for them.
May the LORD God bless you in witnessing to the lost about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
