The New King James Version (NKJV) Bible updates the King James Version (KJV) and uses the same Greek New Testament text as the King James Version (KJV).
Study Bible
The King James Study Bible by Thomas Nelson Publishers is an excellent KJV study Bible that supplies commentary, doctrinal (teaching) footnotes, personality profiles, and facts regarding Biblical archeological sites.
Bible Websites
Bible Gateway is a helpful tool for looking up key words and passages in multiple translations of the Bible.
Blue Letter Bible provides a useful Interlinear Tool next to each researched Bible verse, which includes a translation and word study (using Strong's Numbers) of Hebrew and Aramaic (Old Testament) words and Greek (New Testament) words found in the KJV translation.
Single Volume Bible Commentaries
The Believer’s Bible Commentary: Second Edition by William MacDonald provides conservative and easy to understand explanations of Bible verses. New Testament books, the books of Psalms, Proverbs and Ecclesiastes, and Messianic prophecies of the Old Testament are given verse by verse comments while the remainder of the Old Testament receives paragraph by paragraph comments.
The King James Version Bible Commentary (Ed Hindson and Woodrow Kroll, General Editors) generally supplies helpful explanations of Bible verses from conservative scholars. Detailed comments for individual books and passages in the Bible varies.
Systematic Theology Book
Basic Theology: A Popular Systematic Guide to Understanding Biblical Truth by Charles C. Ryrie is a clear, accessible systematic theology book that teaches an orderly summary of Biblical doctrines.
The Middletown Bible Church website provides sound articles on a number of theological topics.
The Detroit Baptist Seminary Journal (DBSJ) produces scholarly articles from a Christian fundamentalist perspective. Back issues are available online.
Creation Ministry Websites
The Institute for Creation Research (ICR), Creation Ministries International, and Answers in Genesis supply valuable scientific and theological insight from a young-earth perspective. They produce books, magazines, and articles that properly take Genesis chapters 1–11 as a historical narrative.

Creation Book
